In the heart of Haspengouw, a fruity and gently sloping landscape, lies Gors-Opleeuw, one of Flanders' most beautiful villages, Haspengouw at its Haspengouwst. It is a place where you will find peace and nature, and where history is still on the surface: three castles, an old village oven, a vineyard and the former parish priest's house. The old presbytery was transformed into an attractive hotel, a surprising bistro and a restaurant where organic and local were given a place of honor.

Our hotel is a social project for the employment of target groups and is a part of De Wroeter Maatwerkbedrijf.

Sink your teeth into it!

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening you can come to us for a delicious dinner, even if you are not staying with us, all year round. Get to know the cooking skills of Atiya, Stefan and Dirk. Book a table and come and discover it for yourself.

Feel free to read the reviews, we will let ourselves be noticed by a nice breakfast in the beautiful garden or cozy living room. Our breakfast is bursting with organic and local products, local cheeses, Wroeter jams, Wroeter bread of short-chain grain and for those who want eggs from happy chickens... Tasty and sustainable go hand in hand. Plant-based is also possible. Gluten-free is also available on request.

Our packed lunches are perfect for those who like to get out and about and spread out a picnic blanket in a fruit orchard. You can even borrow a knapsack, you just have to find a good stick yourself and voila... you're ready to sink your teeth into the Hesbaye hills. The packed lunch contains 2 sandwiches, a wroeter apple juice, a piece of organic fruit, rooting cake and Oxfam chocolate.

De Pastorie offers you a great location for a group outing, whether it's with friends, your colleagues or your family. Groups up to 20p have come to the right place to come and stay. But even if you don't want to spend the night, you will find what you are looking for here. Dining together is perfect in our living room, meetings in privacy and with adapted catering are also a piece of cake for us. Weather permitting, our garden can also offer a beautiful setting.
